Something about Pelhar Dam. It is a Small lake in Vasai - Virar region. It is one of the water supply unit to Vasai - Virar region. Roads are closed for public. Only officials can enter. You can walk around the perimeter. This lake has a heart shaped formation when viewed from Tungareshwar top. Lake area is around 700 m x 700 m. Tungareshwar can bee seen from the base point.

Where we stood by was the overflow point for the lake covered by Iron gates. The Dam is deep and dangerous during heavy rainfall. Pelhar Lake is a reservoir which is fed by Tungareshwar hills.
